  Always busy & never enough people staffed. Some staff seem indifferent to how long it can take to get through, some are very friendly. A sense of urgency would be nice. Wish it had more bulk prods, more organic produce, & more checkers at all times.

  By far the best Safeway I've been to in Portland. The bakery stop is helpful and will make amazing cakes. The deli is great especially when ordering your holiday meals. It's my go-to every time

  This Safeway is very well kept. Clean, well lit, nice produce section, recently went through yet another renovation and all the OTC the aisles across from the pharmacy are really well lit and organized. (I hesitate to mention but the bathroom is atrocious...and where some restrooms are so well appointed in some stores...take Lowe's for instance....why is this so very nice Safeway --- oh well you get my point) The staff at this Safeway are very stable and they get to know you and are super friendly. The self checkout is handy and if you goof the staff is right there johnny-on-the-spot to help. Good place to shop in the neighborhood. :o)
